Article Marketing Promotion
Article Marketing is amongst one of the many popular internet practice used to draw visitors to company business websites. It is a fact that the best article directories hold enough authority to rank on the first few pages of the various search engines. Internet businesses often focus their efforts on the most popular directories to maximize their visitor counts. This method is two-fold:
1. Write quality content. When a potential visitor reads your article, you want them to continue on and read right down to your link in the authors resource box. If the copy is stale and “slapped” together quickly, you’ll have wasted your time and effort submitting it in the first place.
2. Add your keyword to the title and throughout the article to help the various search engines index it in a good position. Incorporate a link to your website at the bottom of your article.
Squidoo
Squidoo is actually a popular community which enables you to create mini webpages free of charge. You can monetize them for your own gain or give your earnings to charity. You should use Squidoo equivalent to the mini sites for long tail keywords. The main difference is that you don’t own this domain and you do not have quite as much creative license. The benefit is that Squidoo enjoys immense popularity in the various search engines and you will be able to get indexed rapidly. The most popular thread between two of these methods is taking advantage of the recognition of other websites while your primary site rises in authority. Take advantage of the search engines fascination with these directories and sites and use them together with your long tail keyword strategies. With these methods your internet businesses will enjoy additional traffic for little, if no money whatsoever.
Long Tail Keywords
If long tail keyword strategies are not part of your SEO campaign, you should start using them now to improve the level of visitors to your internet businesses. You will find countless long tails just waiting for marketers to make the most of. These keywords are related to the lower search volumes for your niche market. Separately, they aren’t extremely effective but collectively they add up to a lot of daily searches. Additionally, they are easy to rank due to the low competition. You can target these phrases inside your articles or in separate pages on your website. Though you will need to pay for hosting, an excellent strategy is to create mini-sites around each long tail keyword and link them back to your main site. These mini sites can act as pre-sales pages.

This year should explode with the newest trends in social media. Internet businesses who once viewed social media sites as juvenile and unimportant will now get involved so they can stay ahead of the times. Companies will capitalize on this medium to increase their ROI and interact with the people who are buying their products.
I see more and more businesses join sites such as Facebook and Twitter and take an interest in their own communications. It seems as if companies are terminating the outsourcing of some of their content. Marketers are creating their own content to better connect with their audience and establish themselves as industry leaders.
Branding will become one of the most popular trends this year for internet businesses in the social media space. As businesses “get a clue” about this industry, we will see companies establishing their brand colors, messages and communication throughout these social sites. With the newest personalized business profile features on Facebook and the new Twitter contributor feature, currently in beta, I see these sites exploding even more than last year. They will continue to lead the industry as they stay involved and highly prioritize the enhancement of the user’s experience.
The mobile phone enterprise is one of the biggest industries today. Especially with Google’s new “Nexus One” phone and Microsoft on its tails, look for smart entrepreneurs to capitalize on this market. Social media trends will continue to overtake the mobile world. Internet businesses can develop specialized applications for mobile phone users. They can effectively reach a larger audience by solving problems in this space and increasing awareness for their brands.
The social media industry will continue to flourish and develop new and better methods for businesses to connect with and sell to their audiences. Take advantage of this trend which explodes each year with more and more opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. If you already participate in this space but you are not experiencing the rewards, consider resurrecting your campaign by creating new videos or blog posts. Make sure you are really connecting with your audience by offering value and encouraging people to interact with your communications. If you are not actively involved with social media, please reconsider and ride this wave before it is too late. Internet businesses are already catching on to the benefits and the longer you wait, the harder it will be to gain back the time it takes to effectively build a successful campaign.

Many advantages exist to working from home and building an online career which is why anxious professionals run to look for new internet opportunities. Unfortunately, new marketers are prime bait for some of the scams and common mistakes of the trade. Take these pointers and consider them before jumping into any new venture. They will help you avoid unnecessary trauma.
Get Rich Quick Opportunities Don’t Exist
You cannot get rich quick and if anyone tells you it is possible, run far away. Here are a few of the signs signaling a poor opportunity:
• They promise a certain level of income
• You cannot reach a real person through customer service
• You cannot find real testimonies of actual people you can talk to who made real money
There are no Secrets
Have you ever seen those websites displaying their secrets to internet success as if they know something everyone else does not? No methods exist that have not been utilized already. These words represent tactics or methods to gain a sale. The greatest opportunities offer methods that work and are proven to succeed, not secrets or specialized information that really isn’t as good as it sounds.
Stay Organized
In your preliminary research, keep your data organized. Separate different opportunities according to pros and cons and journal everything you learned in the process. Keep your desk and computer folders organized and easily accessible. By working in this manner, you will be practicing for your future internet campaign as well.
Act but don’t React
Acting and reacting identify two separate dynamics and are often confused. For example, do not “react” and leave your job the moment you get started in your online business. You do not know what kind of timelines you will face and how much you will make in the coming months. New marketers get anxious and think they will jumpstart their internet careers by diving in. While you will have more time to dedicate to your campaign if you initially leave your job, you will definitely face things in which you were not prepared. Work on your campaign part-time until you are confident and build a sufficient income from home. “Act” in haste toward your goals, but don’t “react” out of emotion without thinking your decisions through.
Follow these four tips before choosing your internet business opportunities. Learn from those who have already walked in your shoes and adhere to these important guidelines. If you do, when your actual campaign begins, you will be better prepared to move forward and withstand any associated pressures to continue on to success.

“The ‘depression’ was a blessing in disguise. It reduced the whole world to a new starting point that gives everyone a new opportunity.”
That is what Napoleon Hill, the American guru of personal success literature, said about the Great Depression. And of course, he was right. You and I and everyone around us are now back at square one, at the start line, ready for the gun to go off and the race to start. Well, don’t get left behind! Here’s your chance to run with the winners.
We see brick and mortar stores being closed down by the recession, one by one, but online sales are still hot and they are getting hotter, as people start considering the costs of taking their car out of the garage and going to a store, when the gas prices are climbing back up. Remember last year when those prices climbed through the roof? That was a huge breath of fresh air for the online businesses.
Be one of those who breathe fresh air, when everyone is choking up because of the effects of the recession. Be your own boss.
Think about a traditional store or business and all the cost that come with opening one: renting a space, hiring employees, buying equipment, paying utilities, building maintenance issues, etc. All that headache is not part of a Internet Marketer’s way of doing business and starting your own online business costs almost nothing. It does not matter how much money you have when you start, just how much you want to earn.
Online marketing is cheaper than any of the offline methods, is more effective, reaches way more people – the entire world -, it’s accessible to anyone and is not affected by the recession. And there’s more than one way to do it: building lots of small websites that earn little but in a steady way, bid for your page to show up on first pages of search engines), advertising on free online classifieds, writing small articles, sponsor ads, online newsletters, online social media and so much more.
Get creative, don’t let anyone stop you, believe in yourself and remember, there’s no ceiling on what you can make!

Recession! What an ugly word that no one wants to pronounce or think about unless we talk about a far far away third world country that we never heard about before. But, unfortunately, the unwelcomed economic recession is our present reality.
So what do you do? How do you dodge the bullet when you pull into a gas station, pull your debit or credit card out of your wallet and cringe knowing you might have run out of money before you ran out of gas.
Why worry like that. There’s always something we can do! Always. If history proved anything to us, is that we have the power to overcome the toughest times of sickness, poverty, war and destruction. A cyclical economic recession is exactly how it sounds, cyclical. It will go away. But are we going to survive it with our dignity intact?
Where does all the money go in a recession? Do you think all the money are put somewhere in a cave to hibernate until the winter of recession is gone? Nope. Money is still out there, but is not as easy to see as before. So instead of putting your sneakers on and going out to look for it, be smart, have it come to you.
How? Well, how about being part of a select few who are have a recession proof job! And it’s not a job with a mean boss, smelly coworkers in an austere neon lit cubicle. It’s in your home, at the desk you choose, maybe on the patio, in your comfortable pajamas. It’s called Internet Marketing!
There is no recession for internet marketers. It is considered to be one of the highest paying careers because there is no ceiling to how much money you can make. It sounds dreamy, but that’s the reality. Next time you see someone who seems not to be affected by the recession at all or quite the contrary, doing better than ever before, ask them what they do. The chances of them telling you they do Internet Marketing are high these days.
Just think about it. Your Online Home Based Business is global, it is not confined to a four brick wall like the store on the corner. There is no limit to your potential clients. The world is you oyster!
Don’t follow the money, let the money follow you!

Network Marketing is a business model based on a network of independent, autonomous and unsalaried distributors or salespeople who sell certain products or services to customers on behalf of a big firm or company. These distributors are then awarded compensation or commission accordingly.
Since Network Marketing is a skill based job which requires you to directly interact with customers to not just sell your product or service but also recruit new agents or distributors (and so enlarge the chain or network), it is extremely important to understand the basic nuances and tricks of the trade. Indeed, though it is a low capital business anyone can get into, it does require certain skills to make it a profitable online business venture.
Some people seem to have that inborn talent, that gift with words which can make them sell anything they want. The only difference between you and them is proper training. Therefore, it is vital to build up one’s skills from any one of the numerous trustworthy and safe institutes in the market. Notable amongst these support and training organizations is LeadersClub.
Once you have the proper training, start looking for a sponsor. Here again, the sponsor or company you choose should be safe and trustworthy so it’s always advisable to quietly check their antecedents just as they check yours. This is not difficult as a simple run through the list of companies or firms registered with the DSA (Direct Selling Association) and given on its website will, in most cases, suffice.
Now that you have signed up with a reliable company and are one of its official distributors, start right away with your job. Most importantly, do not, even for a second, procrastinate. Many of us delay work thinking that we’ll start tomorrow, but remember, tomorrow never comes so start as soon as possible, which is right now, right here- today!
Lastly, do not expect to become a millionaire overnight. Therefore, be ware of institutes which claim to get you into an income bracket of $10,000 or more in a month or so; more often than not these are frauds that will cheat you of your precious money without arming you with the requisite skills to survive in the market. If you work hard and develop a rapport with your customers, you will undoubtedly reach to the top but it takes some time. Remember that every success story has some initial failure so don’t be overly disheartened if things don’t seem to work out at first. Only those who overcome these initial blockages succeed!

“Social Media is a Cocktail Party” say Jim Tobin and Lisa Braziel in their book with the same title. They show us rules of engagement that are successfully used at a cocktail party. So why see it as a chore, it can be as fun as a party!
And there are so many different cocktail parties out there, that do nothing but help you and your business become more popular every minute of the day without you paying for ads or not even throwing your own “welcome customers” party.
Let’s see which Social Media fun venues you can attack: Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, YouTube, Del.icio.us, LinkedIn, Flickr, StumbleUpon, Digg, SecondLife, Reddit, Technorati, Newsvine, just to name the most well known. Do you see the potential here? It’s colossal. It has no ceiling, just like the money you can make as an Internet Marketer.
And you don’t have to be in front of the computer all day to do it. You can do it from anywhere, provided you did not forget your cell phone home! One little text and the entire world is reminded of your existence. Just like that. And it is very important to be on people’s mind every minute of the day. You never know when they just happen to need exactly what you offer, or they meet with a friend who needs what you offer, they’ll be able to help them and you out and feel good about having that piece of information to help a friend in need. Everybody wins! No one feels they were suckered into doing something they never wanted to do in the first place.
Opinion Research Corporation for Cone conducted a study in September of last year and concluded that customers want businesses to actually get involved. Six out of ten Americans who already use social media, interact with businesses on all those social media websites listed above.
You thought Facebook is for youngsters? Think again. 50 million non-college attendees are using Facebook. LinkedIn, the professional social networking website, grew 187% over the past year. Universal McCann put together a research project that proves that 36% of the online users have a more positive attitude towards the companies that use online social media and have blogs.
These are huge and telling numbers.
Why wouldn’t you want to have a sweet piece of this pie? Make Social Media your cocktail party!

You finally decide to become an Internet Marketer after you see all the amazing benefits of doing so, and now you’re wondering what’s next.
First you have to build a website. The website has to be unique if you want to build your Personal Brand which is a key component of becoming successful in the Internet Marketing business. You need to separate yourself from the crowd somehow. Be special in some way!
Think about who your target audience is, what it wants, what it needs and give it to them. Now once you decide on your target audience you better do some research and start becoming an expert in your field, which will help more than anything with not only obtaining but keeping your customers.
Listen and read what your target market wants, what they are complaining about, they might even give you a hint to the solution on how to solve their problem.
And definitely speak their language. Make sure you know the slang and don’t start talking to a mature audience with lots of “like” and “totally”, nor too sophisticated and academic if you are talking to the teenagers. Plus, if you get the slang down, your audience will believe that you really understand them because you are one of them.
Now that you’ve got all that covered, write the content on your website. In order to get a lot of traffic and to be found with the search engines like google, msn, yahoo, and others, the content on your website has to be to the point and addressing the problems, wants, needs of the target audience and offer a solution. You need to be the expert with all the answers to their questions and their problems.
The title of your webpage has to have the keywords that your target audience will type into a search engine, as well as within the first paragraph. After you have researched your target audience, you know how they think, so put yourself in their shoes and figure out what they would type when looking to solve their problem.
Once your potential customers are on your website you have 5 seconds to capture their attention. If what they typed in is not in the first two lines of your website, they are moving on to a new search.
Remember not to overdo it either!
