Hi Folks I’d like to briefly introduce myself and provide you with some background information about my self.

My name is Paul Hemmant and I am 52 years of age. I was born and raised in the small village of Moulton Chapel, Near Spalding Lincolnshire (United Kingdom) where I spent most of my childhood and teenage years. I Left School at the age of 16 working in the construction industry Up until the age of 25 when I decided that I wanted to expand my horizons so made the decision and moved to London in 1982 were after several different jobs I studied hard and eventually worked my way up to become A Building Surveyor with a top North London Firm of Chartered Building Surveyors, Architects Quantity Surveyors and Town Planners and finally reaching the status of Associate Building Surveyor were I clocked up over 20 years service with the same company.

Having been a confirmed bachelor for most of my life in 2004 I met my future wife Ana on a salsa holiday in Cuba and in 2005 we got married in her home town in Holguin Cuba and after struggling with the Cuban bureaucracy we managed to obtain all the necessary papers and Visas she moved to settle in the UK.

Seven years ago I moved out back into the village of Barton-le- Clay to get away from the rat race and the pace of life living in a big city. Life was great, so I thought, but then it dawned on me that I was leaving home at 7.30 am in the morning with a 90 minute journey into work and the same coming home leaving very little time to spend with my family and to enjoy all the things that I like to do outside of work. All I wanted to do was to crash out in front of the TV by which time it was time to go to bed and the whole cycle started again the next day.
